The Permian varsity volleyball team lost to Amarillo High School Sept 6. They lost the game in three sets.

The previous weekend the team went to San Antonio to play in the Mizuno Showdown volleyball tournament.

The team’s tournament record was 3-5, receiving 3rd place in the Bronze bracket.

Senior Jessica Richards said, “I feel as if we have gotten better when it comes to working together as a team. This weekend our offense started responding faster. We have come back as a team that is ready for district.”
