The Lady Panthers have a clenched playoffs spot as they continue their undefeated season in district. They scooped up another win Tuesday night against Midland High, winning 7-4. That gives them a 17-3 record for the season and an 8-0 record for district.

Junior Rylee Taylor said, ” Being (8-0) in district makes us feel very confident. We know we are the best team in the district, but now we are just trying to keep the momentum going.”

The Lady Panthers are preparing to keep the wins coming.

Senior Destinee Moreno said they are “working harder and practicing on the basic stuff to get stuff done, think about plays we can do to better ourselves and go over the mistakes to learn how to fix them.”

The Lady Panther’s next game will be against the city rivals, Odessa High, April 21 at Ratliff stadium.
