This year Permian high school is doing a school wide Lip Dub. A lip dub is when a person or group of individuals pretend to sing a song or collection of songs as the actual song is played.

The senate is putting on the lip dub and has different songs planned such as Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believing”, as well as “MOJO: That’s my school” by Lloyd Scott. They will possibly continue with the school Alma Mater or “Hawaii 5.0″ if given enough time for the video.

The lip dub will travel around the main hallways of Permian and end in the Fieldhouse unless, weather permitting, they travel outside by the sports fields and return through the band hall and then end up in the Fieldhouse.

“Depending on the weather we could get everyone to go out on Wilkins Field, and spell out MOJO, with music playing in the background,” Senate sponsor Allen Jones said.

The video will be recorded during 1st through 3rd period Feb 13, the same day as the early release.

“The music and route we are taking is all set,” Jones said. “The only thing that is subject to change is the ending of the lipdub.”
